NOTICE
W.R.T.
AIGDSU, CHQ Circular No. GDS/CHQ/1/5/2015 ,DATED – 17-01-2015 we hereby serve
this notice to all concerns of the GDS of the Odisha Circle that the third
Phase agitation program to observe one day Dharna on 24-02-2015 at Circle
Office is inevitable for us to do as the circle recognized service Union branch
Odisha before going to step in indefinite strike from 10 – 03 – 2015 against
the vehement denial to the agreement signed between this AIGDSU and Member(P)
to include the GDS in 7TH CPC or at least liable to form a Judiciary
Pay Committee .
It
is therefore requested all the GDS of Odisha Circle to hold a massive Dharna at
the CPMG Office from early in the morning to the evening on the day mentioned
to ventilate the resentment and anger of the Gramin Dak Sevaks over the
treatment being mated out .

Department employees.
2. Appoint Judiciary committee to examine wage structure and
service conditions of GDS.
3. Stop corporatization of postal department based on the report
of Task Force committee.

In accordance with the provisions of Sub Section (1) of Section 22 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, we hereby notify that all the Gramin Dak Sevaks will go on indefinite strike from 10.03.2015. The demands for acceptance on which the employees embark upon this Indefinite Strike are detailed in the Charter of Demands enclosed.

Appeal
We appeal on behalf of 2.7 Lakhs of GDS employees all unions/Federation in the department of posts to extend support to the indefinite strike from 10-03-2015 for the cause of GDS employees.
The CHQ call upon the All CWC Member's/Circle/Divisional/Branch Secretaries and active member's make the indefinite strike from 10.03.2015 programme a resounding success. It is requested you made press conference and other publicity to poplies our demand. A report may also be sent to the CHQ.
We request you kindly to translate this circular letter in local language and circulate among the staff. This fact may be explained to the membership through group meetings or meetings and general body meetings.
