In accordance with the provisions of Sub Section (1) of Section 22 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, we hereby notify that all the Gramin Dak Sevaks will go on indefinite strike from 10.03.2015. The demands for acceptance on which the employees embark upon this Indefinite Strike are detailed in the Charter of Demands enclosed.

Appeal
We appeal on behalf of 2.7 Lakhs of GDS employees all unions/Federation in the department of posts to extend support to the indefinite strike from 10-03-2015 for the cause of GDS employees.

The CHQ call upon the All CWC Member's/Circle/Divisional/Branch Secretaries and active member's make the indefinite strike from 10.03.2015 programme a resounding success. It is requested you made press conference and other publicity to poplies our demand. A report may also be sent to the CHQ.     

We request you kindly to translate this circular letter in local language and circulate among the staff. This fact may be explained to the membership through group meetings or meetings and general body meetings.

CHARTER OF DEMANDS

1.    Regularize GDS employees and grant all benefits at par with Department employees.


2.    Appoint Judiciary committee to examine wage structure and service conditions of GDS.


3.    Stop corporatization of postal department based on the report of Task Force committee.
