A.I.G.D.S.U. 8TH A.I.C. VENUE CHANGED

8th All India Conference venue was changed from Kakateeya University, Warangal to GREEN WOOD SCHOOL. Green wood school is located 13 kilometers from Warangal Railway station, 12 kilo meters from Khazipeta Railway Station and 7 Kilometers from Hanumakonda New Bus stand. Help line center will be arranged by reception committee at Warangal & Khazipeta Railway Stations. All our delegates and Visitors are requested to consult Help line Centre after getting down from the train. All the C.W.C. Members, Circle Secretaries, Divisional Secretaries, Branch Secretaries, Delegates and Visitors are requested to note this change.

Conciliation Meeting with Regional Labour Commissioner (Central) on 16th May, 2014 at Delhi
Central Labor Commissioner issued Notice to the Department and AIGDSU. In this Meeting on behalf of the Department Director SR & legal Sri Arun Malik and ADG GDS Sri Surender Kumar and from Union side the General Secretary, AIGDSU Sri S.S. Mahadevaiah & Circle Secretary Odisha Com. Debasish Dey attended the meeting. 
Department stated to the CLC that inclusion of GDS on 7th CPC for wage structure and  service conditions in the purview of Terms of reference in 7th CPC. The Department of Post concurrence that file now cleared from the DOPT and submitted to the Finance Ministry and this demand is moving positively ahead. The union requested to take all possible positive decision at the earliest.
Based on our agreement an Mutual understanding the strike was called off on those days.
Now after the formation of new set of Ministers at the Centre we shall also pursue for positive settlement to include us in 7th CPC.
